Growing Old in Germany

The Expert Commission for the Ninth Government Report on Older People has explored the diverse potentials of ageing and the unequal distribution of opportunities for participation in later life. The publication summarises the Commission’s findings and recommendations. It highlights how an ageing society can benefit from the diversity of older people – provided that participation is enabled and inequality is addressed.
