A New Culture of Ageing

The brochure provides an insight into the findings and recommendations of the Sixth Government Report on the Elderly. The Report is entitled "Images of Ageing in Society" and was prepared by experts from various disciplines chaired by Professor Andreas Kruse. We still mainly associate old age with images of sickness and frailty instead of tapping the valuable potential of older people. In fact many people today experience this phase of life in good health, put it into active use and spend the additional time in a way that is meaningful for themselves and others. The brochure also invites to think about your own images of ageing.
